Contrary to what society says, bloating is not normal, although it does seem to be common in today's day & age with the Standard American Diet.
“I had no idea that it wasn’t actually “normal” or healthy to experience bloating. I’ve suffered from extreme bloating for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I always thought that this is just what happens when you eat/drink. As I grew older, I even had to plan my outfits around if or when I’d be eating since clothes were made uncomfortably tight by the bloat.
That was just the norm for me; I never expected that it could be alleviated.
